Philadelphia isn’t all cobblestones and cheesesteaksit’s a happening town for nightlife too, and the Sheraton Society Hill is smack in the middle of Old City's lounges, clubs and restaurant.
The blocks of Second Street between Chestnut and Vine are home to most of the city's spots. Stephen Starr’s Continental (134 Market St. at S. 2nd St.) is a posh martini bar where the line snakes around the block after midnight and 32° (16 S. 2nd St.) is still Philadelphia’s most exclusive lounge for bottle service and high-end vodkas. Cuba Libre (10 S. 2nd St.) is both a noted restaurant and the place to go for mojitos. For music fans, there’s always Philly’s legendary indie rock club, The Khyber (56 S. 2nd St.), whose popular upstairs bar features nightly dj sets of everything from British rap to Gypsy dance music.
And for those who enjoy something more quiet, The Tin Angel (20 S. 2nd St.) is a noted folk and jazz club and the nearby Farmicia (15 S. 3rd St) is a laid back restaurant that crafts meals from local, artisan ingredients.
